Download the USB Drivers from the Com21 website and extract to a floppy disk or to a directory on your hard drive. 2. If connected, detach USB cable between PC and cable modem USB interface. 3. Plug in AC power. 4. Plug in USB cable. The New Hardware Found dialog box will appear. 5. When prompted for USB Driver files, browse to the directory or floppy disk where you extracted the files. 5. If prompted to insert Windows CD, follow the on screen prompts to install any necessary Windows files. 6. Follow the on screen prompts to install the driver. 7. Download the USB Drivers from the Com21 website and extract to a floppy disk or to a directory on your hard drive. 2. Right click on the My Computer icon on your desktop and select Properties. 3. Click on the Device Manager tab and then double click on Network Adapter. 4. Double click on the COM21 DP1110 USB Cable Modem. 5. Select the Driver tab and click the Update Driver button. 6. At the Update Device Driver Wizard click the Next button. 7. Select Search for a better driver and click the Next button. 8. Select the location of the USB Driver you extracted and click the Next button. 9. Follow the onscreen prompts to complete installation. 10. After your driver has been downloaded, follow these simple steps to install it.
Expand the archive file (if the download file is in zip or rar format).
If the expanded file has an .exe extension, double click it and follow the installation instructions.
Otherwise, open Device Manager by right-clicking the Start menu and selecting Device Manager.
Find the device and model you want to update in the device list.
Double-click on it to open the Properties dialog box.
From the Properties dialog box, select the Driver tab.
Click the Update Driver button, then follow the instructions.
Very important: You must reboot your system to ensure that any driver updates have taken effect.
