Clicking on any item will produce an explanation of that item in the "Information Box" at the bottom of the screen. Hit ESCape to exit from any window. Select the "TOOLS" menu option to access: PCI Bus Viewer - Information about adapter/bios settings for all the PCI modules in your system. Diagnostics - Run comprehensive diagnostics on your Digital Network Adapter, as well as additional tests to verify your current physical connection and connectivity to other Digital Network Adapters on your network. Remote Boot - To configure/view an installed Remote Boot ROM's settings. From the HELP menu select: Utility - Explanation of the utility(taken from this file). Release Notes - Release notes for the current software kit. Latest Drivers - For a complete list of resources from which to obtain the latest driver updates. About - Current version of the utility. Command Line Switches: ====================== EZWORKS also allows performing functions via command line switches. The following is a full description of the switches. 1. The EZWORKS command line feature is supported on systems containing only a single Digital PCI adapter. 2. Command line switches are not case sensitive and do not have to appear in any particular order. Spaces between switches will be ignored. All switch fields must appear exactly as shown in the Command Line Switches section. No spaces are allowed before or after the '=' sign. Truncation of switch names is not allowed. Command Line Switches --------------------- /help or /? When the /? or /help switch is included in the command line, EZWORKS will display help on command line switches. /status This switch allows you to view your Digital PCI adapter's current card settings. /nodisplay Disables the displaying of text to the screen. (Except for /? /help /status and any error messages that may occur) (Remote Boot ROM settings for an installed Remote Boot ROM:) ============================================================ /remote=(enable, disable) When the /remote switch is included on the command line, EZWORKS will change your Digital PCI adapter's remote boot setting to ENABLE or DISABLE according to the value specified by the user. /protocol=(mop,rpl...) When the /protocol switch is included in the command line, EZWORKS will modify the remote boot protocol to the user specified value. Valid values for ROM's previous V2.0: (MOP,RPL,RPL_19h) Valid values for ROM's V2.0 or later: (MOP,RPL,TCPIP,NETWARE_802_2, NETWARE_802_3,NETWARE_ETHERNET_II) /timeout=(30secs, 2_5mins) Remote Boot timeout (MOP only). Use this option to select the period of time the adapter will try to establish a Remote Boot session. If a Remote Boot session cannot be established during this time then a local boot will occur. /updateflash Allows the user to write/update an installed Remote Boot FLASH ROM. EZWORKS looks for the file 'flash450.bin' in the current directory and uses that file to update the FLASH ROM. Example - To change the Remote Boot Protocol and Enable Remote Boot: SETUP /protocol=rpl/remote=enabledDownload Driver Pack
