A quad-protocol remote boot flash ROM is available for the DE450
EtherWORKS PCI 10 adapter.  This rom includes anti-virus software 
and remote boot capability for the following protocols:

	* NetWare (for NetWare V3.11 and higher)

	* RPL (industry standard; supporting Windows NT, 
		PathWORKS 5.x and higher, and others)

	* TCP/IP

	* MOP (PathWORKS 4.x)

The Digital part number for this product is DE45F-AR.  It can be 
ordered from your Digital reseller (call 1-800-457-8211 in U.S. and 
Canada to be directed to a reseller in your area).  Alternatively, 
the product may be purchased from Digital (call 1-800-DIGITAL), 
specifying that this is a network product.

Since this is a flash ROM, future updates and enhancements to the 
code may be downloaded from www, ftp site, bbs, and CompuServe.

How To Update Drivers Manually

After your driver has been downloaded, follow these simple steps to install it.

  • Expand the archive file (if the download file is in zip or rar format).

  • If the expanded file has an .exe extension, double click it and follow the installation instructions.

  • Otherwise, open Device Manager by right-clicking the Start menu and selecting Device Manager.

  • Find the device and model you want to update in the device list.

  • Double-click on it to open the Properties dialog box.

  • From the Properties dialog box, select the Driver tab.

  • Click the Update Driver button, then follow the instructions.

Very important: You must reboot your system to ensure that any driver updates have taken effect.
