Installation Procedure 
-----------------------

 1. Plug the adapter into one of the Master PCI slots of your PC.

 2. Power on your PC.

 3. Open Windows Me operating system.

 4. Windows Me will prompt "PCI Ethernet Controller" in "Add New Hardware
    Wizard" dialog box, then click <NEXT> button.

 5. Select "Search for the best driver for your device" from "Add New Hardware 
    Wizard" dialog box, then click <NEXT> button.

 6. Insert driver disk bundled with "100/10M Ethernet PCI Adapter".

 7. Enter the driver pathname, then click the <NEXT> button from "Add New 
    Hardware Wizard" dialog box.

    Example :

             A:\WINME
      
 8. Select your installed adapter - "100/10M Ethernet PCI Adapter"
    , then click the <NEXT> button from the dialog box.

 9. To complete the process, please follow the instructions on the screen.

10. Restart your computer.

How To Update Drivers Manually

After your driver has been downloaded, follow these simple steps to install it.

  • Expand the archive file (if the download file is in zip or rar format).

  • If the expanded file has an .exe extension, double click it and follow the installation instructions.

  • Otherwise, open Device Manager by right-clicking the Start menu and selecting Device Manager.

  • Find the device and model you want to update in the device list.

  • Double-click on it to open the Properties dialog box.

  • From the Properties dialog box, select the Driver tab.

  • Click the Update Driver button, then follow the instructions.

Very important: You must reboot your system to ensure that any driver updates have taken effect.
