Thank you for using EPSON Scan to Web application.
This Readme file contains general notice and limitation for the usage "EPSON Scan to Web".
For detailed information for usage, please refer to the HELP of EPSON Scan to Web.

Warning!!
This program stores the password for photo sharing site in your system.
EPSON strongly recommends you to use the different password for photo sharing site from other important passwords such as the password for the credit cards. We assume no responsibility for any loss or damage caused by this.


1. General notice
- Maximum password length is limited to 20 characters.
- This application uses HTTP or FTP protocol for uploading photos to photo sharing web site.
Depending on the network environment, HTTP or FTP protocol may not work properly.
Followings are the limitations for the HTTP or FTP connections.

a. Connecting via HTTP
This application uses Microsoft(TM) Internet Explorer proxy and other setting. When you
 encounter the trouble for uploading photo, please check Internet Explorer settings.


b. Connecting via FTP (US photo sharing site)
This application uses port #20,21.
If you use firewall or disable those ports, please enable it before using.


2. Uninstall
--- For Windows ---
 Select "setting" then "control panel" from [Start] menu.
 Open "
 Select "ScanToWeb" then click install/uninstall

--- For Macintosh ---
  Move ScanToWeb folder to Trash.

Note:
This application is independent application and NOT uninstalled when EPSON Smart Panel
 is uninstalled.

How To Update Drivers Manually

After your driver has been downloaded, follow these simple steps to install it.

  • Expand the archive file (if the download file is in zip or rar format).

  • If the expanded file has an .exe extension, double click it and follow the installation instructions.

  • Otherwise, open Device Manager by right-clicking the Start menu and selecting Device Manager.

  • Find the device and model you want to update in the device list.

  • Double-click on it to open the Properties dialog box.

  • From the Properties dialog box, select the Driver tab.

  • Click the Update Driver button, then follow the instructions.

Very important: You must reboot your system to ensure that any driver updates have taken effect.
