Please see the ScanGear CS-U Getting Started Guide for installation instructions. <Application Programs> Start the CanoScan Setup Utility by double-clicking the [SETUP.EXE] program in the root folder of the CanoScan Setup Utility CD-ROM. Click the[Install Software] button in the menu window, then follow the on-screen messages to complete the installation. <Uninstalling the ScanGear CS-U TWAIN Driver and Application Programs> Start the CanoScan Setup Utility by double-clicking the [SETUP.EXE] program in the root folder of the CanoScan Setup Utility CD-ROM. Click the [Uninstall Software] button in the menu window. Click the [Uninstall] button and follow the on-screen messages to complete the deletion of ScanGear CS-U or the application programs. ScanGear CS-U ------------- ScanGear CS-U is a TWAIN compliant scanning driver for CanoScan FB1210U and FAU-S11 Film adapter unit. ScanGear CS-U can be installed with the Plug and Play feature of the operating system. See the ScanGear CS-U Getting Started Guide for details. ScanGear Toolbox CS ------------------- You can install ScanGear Toolbox CS by double-clicking [\Toolbox\Disk1\Setup.exe]. See the ScanGear Toolbox CS electronic manual for details. After your driver has been downloaded, follow these simple steps to install it.
Expand the archive file (if the download file is in zip or rar format).
If the expanded file has an .exe extension, double click it and follow the installation instructions.
Otherwise, open Device Manager by right-clicking the Start menu and selecting Device Manager.
Find the device and model you want to update in the device list.
Double-click on it to open the Properties dialog box.
From the Properties dialog box, select the Driver tab.
Click the Update Driver button, then follow the instructions.
Very important: You must reboot your system to ensure that any driver updates have taken effect.
