- Important Note About KONICA MINOLTA Driver for Windows NT4 Installation

Before installing and using a TCP/IP printer,
please verify that these Windows components
are installed:
   TCP/IP Support
   TCP/IP Print service
Information on installing these components can be
found in Windows Help.

Full functionality of this driver requires that the Microsoft
MGMTAPI.DLL file be available on your computer's hard disk. If
this file is missing, bidirectional parallel communication is
affected (the Quick Configure option and consumable reporting
information are not available).

>>Note: This file must also be available on the client PC if you
are sharing printers in a Windows NT4 environment.

To achieve full driver functionality, use the following
instructions to download and install the missing file from
Microsoft's web site.

1 In Windows NT4, enable SNMP service.

Note: SNMP service must be running before you install
Service Pack 5 in the following step.

2 Download and install the Windows NT4 Service Pack 5 from
   Microsoft's web site at http://www.microsoft.com/ntserver/nts/downloads/

Note: You must install Service Pack 5. Service Pack 6 does not
install the MGMTAPI.DLL file even if SNMP service is running.

3 Now download and install the Windows NT4 Service Pack 6 from
   Microsoft's web site at http://www.microsoft.com/ntserver/nts/downloads/

Note: Service Pack 6 contains other files required for driver operation.

4 Install the KONICA MINOLTA driver for Windows NT4 as usual.
