Packet Driver
Introduction:
This document describes the procedure to setup the Packet driver for
TAMARACK TC6020 10/100 Fast Ethernet Card.
Location of Driver: \PKTDRV\TC6020P.COM
\PKTDRV\TC6020P.SYS
Usage:
Two methods can be used:
METHOD 1:

- If you want to use TC6020P.SYS program, the following statement must be
included in your CONFIG.SYS file:
DEVICE = TC6020P.SYS <software_int_no> <io_addr> [media]
packet_int_no: to set software interrupt for this driver
the reasonable value is from 0x60 to 0x80
media : to set the line speed and fullduplex function
the reasonable value is auto/10half/10full/100half/100full
auto = enable autonegotiation
10half = force to 10M, half duplex
10full = force to 10M, full duplex
100half = force to 100M, half duplex
100full = force to 100M, full duplex
METHOD 2:

- If you want to run TC6020P.COM program, execute TC6020P.COM by typing:
>TC6020P [-u] <software_int_no> <io_addr> [media]
-u : to unload this driver
packet_int_no: to set software interrupt for this driver
the reasonable value is from 0x60 to 0x80
io_addr : to select a card by i/o port address
media : to set the line speed and fullduplex function
the reasonable value is auto/10half/10full/100half/100full
auto = enable autonegotiation
10half = force to 10M, half duplex
10full = force to 10M, full duplex
100half = force to 100M, half duplex
100full = force to 100M, full duplex
Download Driver Pack
After your driver has been downloaded, follow these simple steps to install it.
Expand the archive file (if the download file is in zip or rar format).
If the expanded file has an .exe extension, double click it and follow the installation instructions.
Otherwise, open Device Manager by right-clicking the Start menu and selecting Device Manager.
Find the device and model you want to update in the device list.
Double-click on it to open the Properties dialog box.
From the Properties dialog box, select the Driver tab.
Click the Update Driver button, then follow the instructions.
Very important: You must reboot your system to ensure that any driver updates have taken effect.
