Originally called Scanner.zip Info Products went out of business before XP was dreamed about that means there are no drivers provided for windows XP This driver is for a Color Flatbed Scanner 4800P for Windows XP It seems to work wonderfully so far with Info ImageReader Express on Windows XP Home, though I haven't tried it much. It was a little difficult to set up I kept getting a dialog box that said "I/O Address Verification - Scanner DLL Not Found" when trying to use fbutil. I still get that error, but my scanner seems to work fine. The way you check communication is run Scantest.exe and try to shut off your lamp. that shows you the driver is working. if it can't find your scanner make sure you are Using EPP or Bi-Directional on 378h or 3BCh (I think, I used EPP 378h and it began to work fine) Make sure you restart the computer make sure cables are plugged in correctly don't have too long of a cable. Spread the news of any other Scanners that seem to work with this driver. Philip Waters phil_at_work@hotmail.comDownload Driver Pack
