The Hitachi SAS release for 15K 3.5" SAS hard drive firmware to fix Linux install hang in a RAID-0 config.
During a Linux install small block sequential writes occur which brings out this bug and result in a hang
during install when attached to SAS-5/iR running in RAID 0. The firmware will rev from A48B to A5F0.

The Fujitsu SAS release for 15K 3.5" AL9LX and 10K 2.5" AL9SE SAS hard drive firmware to fix the possible
offline conditions. A change was implemented in firmware to return a different sense data under certain
rare error conditions.Making this change in some instances will allow the array controller the opportunity
to initiate its own built-in error correction procedures rather than taking the drive offline. The firmware
will rev from D206 to D207 on 3.5" and D108 to D109 on 2.5" drives.

The following Fujitsu 3.5" SAS drives will be updated to firmware version D207.

This addresses Maxtor SAS HDD firmware issues, where under certain circumstances a hard disk drive may go
offline, hard disk drives (HDD), may report offline due to a timeout condition. If the HDD is unable to
complete commands, this may result in the controller reporting the HDD off line. This firmware update has
improved SMART Reporting, where drives can report SMART trips due to aggressive SMART Error Rate Measurement
counters during read verifies.

* Firmware versions S515 and T109 *

Fixes and Enhancements
======================
This firmware affects the following Seagate SAS 3.5" 15k AND 10k hard disk drives. If the write cache option
of Windows Server 2000 is disabled, and SAS hard disks are connected to SAS5 I controller on PowerEdge
servers, the hard disks may go offline under a heavy I/O workload. This issue only impacts the Seagate SAS
hard disk with SAS 5I under Windows Server 2000.

The following Seagate 15K drives will be updated to firmware version S515.

A new firmware for Seagate SAS drives is available with enhanced predictive failure algorithm.
1) This new firmware enhances the drives ability to detect and report some media 03/11/00 errors
encountered with a large block verify command used by the controller Patrol Read function.
2) Corrects a problem that could cause the drive to hang while running Drive Self Test (DST).
DST is run during diagnostics.
3) Corrected a remote possibility of drive hang caused by a task management logical unit number reset.

The following Seagate 10K 2.5" drives will be updated to firmware version S110.
