   General Instructions
   --------------------
   1  Open the "My Computer" icon.

   2  Open the "Control Panel" icon from the My Computer window.

   3  Open the "Network" icon from the Control Panel window.

   4  <Optional> If the PRO/100 ISA is already an installed LAN adapter, 
      select the "Intel EtherExpress PRO/100 ISA" and click "Remove".  
      This should delete the PRO/100 ISA adapter from the list as well
      as the protocols that were bound to it.

   5  From the Network window, click "OK" which will save the network 
      Windows 95 network configuration with no LAN adapters installed.

   6  When prompted to restart the computer for changes to take effect,
      click "NO"

   7  Run the SETUP.EXE program for Client 32. It is located in the
      \ENGLISH subdirectory of the Client 32 software.

   8  On the Novell Client 32 Installation window, select "Upgrade
      NDIS drivers to ODI drivers automatically" and click "Start."

   9  From the Select Device window, click "Have Disk" and specify 
      the path for the manufacturer's disk as "A:\NETWARE."

  10  From the Select Device window, select "Intel EtherExpress  
      PRO/100 ISA Adapter" from the list and click "OK." 

  11  Specify the preferred server, tree, and context when prompted. 

  12  The Client 32 installation will finish, and you must reboot in order
      for the changes to become effective.

How To Update Drivers Manually

After your driver has been downloaded, follow these simple steps to install it.

  • Expand the archive file (if the download file is in zip or rar format).

  • If the expanded file has an .exe extension, double click it and follow the installation instructions.

  • Otherwise, open Device Manager by right-clicking the Start menu and selecting Device Manager.

  • Find the device and model you want to update in the device list.

  • Double-click on it to open the Properties dialog box.

  • From the Properties dialog box, select the Driver tab.

  • Click the Update Driver button, then follow the instructions.

Very important: You must reboot your system to ensure that any driver updates have taken effect.
