   FOR THE INTEL EtherExpress(TM) PRO/100 ISA ADAPTER

   Before installing the Novell NetWare Client for Windows NT,
   configure the EtherExpress PRO/100 ISA on your NT server or
   workstation following the Windows NT installation notes 
   under the Micosoft Network section in the Intel README 
   viewer. The Novell NetWare Client for Windows NT will not 
   install correctly if the EtherExpress PRO/100 ISA adapter
   is not already functioning correctly in a Windows NT server
   or workstation. 
     
   GENERAL INSTALLATION for Windows NT 
   ------------------------------------

   1  Run the SETUPNW.EXE program for NetWare Client for NT. It is 
      located in the \I386 subdirectory of the NetWare Client for 
      NT software.

   2  If prompted to remove Windows NT Client or Gateway services for 
      NetWare, click "YES".
     
   3  When prompted to reboot after install is complete, click
      "reboot".

   4  After you have rebooted and loaded Windows NT you will be 
      prompted with a new Novell NetWare login screen.

   5  From the Novell NetWare Client Services window Login tab, 
      specify your NetWare login name, context, and password.

   6  If your network has NetWare 4.x file servers, select the NetWare 
      tab from the Novell NetWare Client Services window and specify 
      your Novell NDS Tree name and a preferred server in the NDS 
      Login window.

      If your network does not contain any NetWare 4.x servers, 
      select the NetWare tab and select the Server button in the  
      Bindery Login window and enter in your preferred NetWare file
      server name.

How To Update Drivers Manually

After your driver has been downloaded, follow these simple steps to install it.

  • Expand the archive file (if the download file is in zip or rar format).

  • If the expanded file has an .exe extension, double click it and follow the installation instructions.

  • Otherwise, open Device Manager by right-clicking the Start menu and selecting Device Manager.

  • Find the device and model you want to update in the device list.

  • Double-click on it to open the Properties dialog box.

  • From the Properties dialog box, select the Driver tab.

  • Click the Update Driver button, then follow the instructions.

Very important: You must reboot your system to ensure that any driver updates have taken effect.
