Updated Hardlock Files The subdirectories and files in this directory correspond to those from the DIAdem 8.1 CD under ..Tools\Hardlock.. They contain newer versions of those files. Please use these new versions instead of those from the DIAdem 8.1 CD. \HLSERVER Contains the server program Windows operating systems that is required to operate a network hardlock. Please refer to the file "Hardlock Handbuch.pdf" in this directory for futher information \PCICard Contains the drivers that are required in addition to the normal Hardlock drivers to operate PCI-Card type hardlocks. Please refer to the PDF files in the subdirectory \Doc. \Drivers Contains the installation program to install the hardlock drivers under Windows. Simply start HLDRV32.EXE for that purpose. After your driver has been downloaded, follow these simple steps to install it.
Expand the archive file (if the download file is in zip or rar format).
If the expanded file has an .exe extension, double click it and follow the installation instructions.
Otherwise, open Device Manager by right-clicking the Start menu and selecting Device Manager.
Find the device and model you want to update in the device list.
Double-click on it to open the Properties dialog box.
From the Properties dialog box, select the Driver tab.
Click the Update Driver button, then follow the instructions.
Very important: You must reboot your system to ensure that any driver updates have taken effect.
