How to use this driver

This file contains updated Windows 2000 Professional drivers for the Aztech Data/Fax MDP3880-W(B)Modem (Zeus). The files will be extracted to the C:\dell\drivers\7761T directory. 

NOTE: This file is for modems shipped to the following locations:

Scandinavia
Australia
New Zealand

NOTE: For Aztech Data/Fax drivers for Windows 2000 Professional in these locations, please download thr2kwor.exe.
U.S.A.
Canada
Japan
China
Malaysia
Singapore

To install this driver in Windows 2000:
1. On the start menu, click RUN and type c:\dell\drivers\7761T\setup and click OK.  
2. The drivers will be automatically installed to the system.  Please wait for up to one minute for the entire process to       complete.  Windows will detect the new hardware and copy all files to the system during this process.

To remove this newer, updated driver from Windows 2000:
1. Click on the START button
2. Under the start menu choose SETTINGS and click on CONTROL PANEL.
3. In Control Panel click on ADD/REMOVE PROGRAMS.
4. In Add/Remove Programs select the MDP3880-W(B) PCI Modem(Uninstall).
5. Click on the ADD/REMOVE button.
6. Click YES to remove the existing driver.
7. Click OK to close Add/Remove Programs.

How To Update Drivers Manually

After your driver has been downloaded, follow these simple steps to install it.

  • Expand the archive file (if the download file is in zip or rar format).

  • If the expanded file has an .exe extension, double click it and follow the installation instructions.

  • Otherwise, open Device Manager by right-clicking the Start menu and selecting Device Manager.

  • Find the device and model you want to update in the device list.

  • Double-click on it to open the Properties dialog box.

  • From the Properties dialog box, select the Driver tab.

  • Click the Update Driver button, then follow the instructions.

Very important: You must reboot your system to ensure that any driver updates have taken effect.
