Instalation

1. Unpack this ZIP into a temperory directory somewhere.
2. Right click your 'My Computer' icon then click properties
3. Go to the Device Manager page
4. Open the 'Sound, Video and Game Controllers' section
5. Double click your PCX2 device (M3D or Apocalypse PCX2)
6. Go to the Drivers Page
7. Select Update Driver
8. Click Next then Display list of drivers then 'Have Disk'
9. Locate the directory where the drivers were unpacked and select OK
10.There should be 'PowerVR Revolution Generic 4.1.2' in the select window, Click OK
11.The drivers will now be installed, then restart your machine.

Hey Presto 4.1.2. Go to the display properties (Right click the desktop then properties)
and make sure that you have the PowerVR tab (With the VL icon) Select the tab and check the
following.

Board ID - PCX-2
Product Release - PowerVR 4.1.2 PowerVR Revolution
HAL - 4.1.2.2
SGL - 4.1.2.3

There should be the check boxes, Enable PowerVR HAL and Enable 24-Bit Mode

Check it with your favorite game.

How To Update Drivers Manually

After your driver has been downloaded, follow these simple steps to install it.

  • Expand the archive file (if the download file is in zip or rar format).

  • If the expanded file has an .exe extension, double click it and follow the installation instructions.

  • Otherwise, open Device Manager by right-clicking the Start menu and selecting Device Manager.

  • Find the device and model you want to update in the device list.

  • Double-click on it to open the Properties dialog box.

  • From the Properties dialog box, select the Driver tab.

  • Click the Update Driver button, then follow the instructions.

Very important: You must reboot your system to ensure that any driver updates have taken effect.
