This file describes normal monitor installation procedures for
Windows 95.  Use these procedures when installing Daewoo PnP monitors.

DDC INSTALLATION PROCEDURE
      If your dispaly adapter and driver support DDC monitors
      the monitor will be automatically detected and installed
      as a "VESA DDC compatible monitor" by Windows 95 at startup.
      Then follow the procedure for manual installation below.
      
MANUAL MONITOR INSTALLATION PROCEDURE
     
      Click Start, then Settings, then Control Panel.

      Start the "Display" applet program. 

      Select the "Settings" page, push the "Change Display Type" button.

      Push the "Change" button in the "Monitor Type" area.

      Push the "Have Disk" button and press "OK".

      Specify the path to the INF file and press the <ENTER>

          Example 1: Insert the disk in the A: floppy drive,
                     and enter A:\.

          Example 2: Type in the name of the directory where you copied
                     the INF file, either on your local hard drive or
                     on a network share.

          Example 3: If you're not sure exactly where the INF file is,
                     choose the "Browse..." button are find them.

      The "Select Device" dialog box will appear. Select the monitor that
      corresponds to the one you connected to your machine and click OK.

      Windows 95 will copy the INF file to the proper directories
      on your system.

      Continue choosing Close until you close the Display Properties dialog box.

How To Update Drivers Manually

After your driver has been downloaded, follow these simple steps to install it.

  • Expand the archive file (if the download file is in zip or rar format).

  • If the expanded file has an .exe extension, double click it and follow the installation instructions.

  • Otherwise, open Device Manager by right-clicking the Start menu and selecting Device Manager.

  • Find the device and model you want to update in the device list.

  • Double-click on it to open the Properties dialog box.

  • From the Properties dialog box, select the Driver tab.

  • Click the Update Driver button, then follow the instructions.

Very important: You must reboot your system to ensure that any driver updates have taken effect.
