       This ReadMe provides instructions on how to upgrade the
       NetWare Command Line Interface (CLI) to the V2.7-x PERC 2 and 
       integrated (PERC 2/Si, PERC 3/Si and PERC 3/Di) controllers, 
       hereinafter referred to as the PERC 2 and/or integrated controllers.
       This software release support Netware Version and 5.X and 6.0.

       1.0   Introducing the Product

       3.0   Upgrading the Netware CLI from the local server

       Follow the following steps to upgrade the CLI application on 
       the Netware server.

       * From server console down the server
       * Unzip contents of the A13NWAPP.ZIP file to a temporary directory
         on the hard disk.
       * Bring up the server
       * From command console run
          
		load C:\temp\nwsetup.nlm

        (where C:\temp is the name of temporary directory where contents 
         of A13NWAPP.ZIP  file were unzipped in earlier steps)

       * Follow instructions on the screen from nwsetup.nlm

       4.0   Upgrading the Netware CLI from a Windows client  

       Follow the following steps to upgrade From a Windows client attached 
       to the NetWare Server

       * Copy unzipped contents of the A13NWAPP.ZIP file to a directory 
         on the server.
         Note: do not copy these files to sys:system directory

       * From command console run 
  		
		load directory path\nwsetup.nlm
      
         (where directory path points to the directory where contents 
         of A13NWAPP.ZIP file were copied in earlier steps)

       * Follow instructions on the screen from nwsetup.nlm

How To Update Drivers Manually

After your driver has been downloaded, follow these simple steps to install it.

  • Expand the archive file (if the download file is in zip or rar format).

  • If the expanded file has an .exe extension, double click it and follow the installation instructions.

  • Otherwise, open Device Manager by right-clicking the Start menu and selecting Device Manager.

  • Find the device and model you want to update in the device list.

  • Double-click on it to open the Properties dialog box.

  • From the Properties dialog box, select the Driver tab.

  • Click the Update Driver button, then follow the instructions.

Very important: You must reboot your system to ensure that any driver updates have taken effect.
