The driver (EN1207D.SYS) contained in the directory WINNT40 is for
the following HP PCI Ethernet adapter:

The driver (EN1207D.SYS) conforms to the Network Driver Interface
Specification (NDIS) 4.0, and used with Microsoft Windows NT 4.0

NDIS 4.0 Minport Driver dont support Microsoft Windows NT 3.51
platform,NT 3.51 must use NDIS 3 Minport Driver.

(0) Configuring EN1207D-TX PCI Adapter Media Mode

   Before Installing your NDIS4 Driver, EN12107D-TX adapter can be set in
   Full/Half Duplex mode.(Please reference SET1207D.TXT)


(A) Installing driver on Microsoft Windows NT 4.0
=================================================

    1. Plug HP's EN1207D-TX adapter into one of the Master PCI
       slots of your PCI platform.

    2. Turn power ON then boot from Windows NT.

    3. Click the  "My Computer"  icon in the Main Program Group.

    4. Click the  "Control Panel"  icon from Main window.

    5. Click the  "Network"  icon from the Control Panel window.

    6. Select "Adapters" item, then click "Add..." button from
       "Network" dialog box.

    7. Select  "<other> Requires disk from manufacturer"  in Network
       Adapter Card list, then click "Continue" button from
       "Add Network Adapter"  dialog box,

    8. Insert the HPEN1207D-TX Driver Diskette in your floppy drive.

    9. Click "Have Disk..." button from "Select Network Adapter"
       dialog box.

   10. Enter the full pathname A:\WINNT40  of the driver installation
       information file (OEMSETUP.INF) in  "Insert Disk"  dialog box,
       then click OK button.

   11. Select  "HP EN1207D-TX PCI Fast Ethernet Adapter"  then
       click OK button from  "Select OEM Option"  dialog box.

   12. Select the Line Speed value (AUTO, 10full, 100full,10half,100half)
       then OK button from  "Select Line Speed"  dialog box.

   13. Windows NT will copy the driver (EN1207D.SYS) from A:\WINNT40
       to C:\WINNT\SYSTEM32\DRIVERS directory and the OEMSETUP.INF
       from A:\WINNT to C:\WINNT\SYSTEM32 but renamed it to other
       installation information file (OEMNADxx.INF). So next time,
       if you want to add HP EN1207D-TX adapters to your system,
       you do not need floppy diskette again.

       NOTICE!! C:\WINNT is the directory where your NT O.S. is located.

   14. After that, installation is completed.  You can see:

       "[x]HP EN1207D-TX PCI Fast Ethernet Adapter"

       within Network Adapters list from "Network" dialog box.

   15. To complete network installation, remember binding the adapter to
       transport drivers by choosing "Bindings" button from  "Network"
       dialog box.

   16. Click "Close" button from  "Network"  dialog box.

   17. Remove the HP EN1207D-TX Driver Diskette from your floppy drive.

   18. Restart your computer to take effect the network function.
