Introduction:
=============

  This document shows you how to setup the driver in Windows operating system.

    FETND5A.SYS         The NDIS5 driver for Windows.

    FETND.DOS           The NDIS2 driver for Windows.

    FETNDIS.INF         The installation information file.
    FETNDI.DLL          The Co-installer for Windows.

Installation:
=============

  Before starting with the installation process, make sure that the adapter
  is properly installed and configured.       
       a. Right click "My Computer" on the desktop, and choose "Property".
       b. Choose "Device Manager" in tab "Hardware", and expand "Other devices" in the 
          device list.
       c. Double click the specified "Ethernet Controller" and click "Update Driver" in 
	  tab "Driver".
       d. Windows will pop out a update Device Driver Wizard window, choice "Next >".
       e. Follow the Windows recommended, choice "Next >".
       f. Choose "Specify a location", and insert Shuttle CD in CD-ROM, then key in the 
	  driver path. (assign the CD-ROM path, i.e. D:\Lan).
       g. When the driver installation is completed, restart your PC.

How To Update Drivers Manually

After your driver has been downloaded, follow these simple steps to install it.

  • Expand the archive file (if the download file is in zip or rar format).

  • If the expanded file has an .exe extension, double click it and follow the installation instructions.

  • Otherwise, open Device Manager by right-clicking the Start menu and selecting Device Manager.

  • Find the device and model you want to update in the device list.

  • Double-click on it to open the Properties dialog box.

  • From the Properties dialog box, select the Driver tab.

  • Click the Update Driver button, then follow the instructions.

Very important: You must reboot your system to ensure that any driver updates have taken effect.
