Driver Supported: DOS, Windows 9x/Me, Windows NT 4.0, Windows 2000. DOS Installation: 1. Install the Ultra 100 IDE card and connect the hard drives to it. 2. Use the driver in \DOS for the Ultra 100 IDE card. 3. ATAPI devices is not supported by Ultra 100 IDE card under DOS. Windows 9x/Me Installation: 1. Complete fresh installation first with hard drive and CD-ROM drive connected to the onboard IDE ports. 2. Before you shutdown the system, install the driver by running the setup.exe in \win9x. 3. Install the Ultra 100 IDE card and connect the hard drives and other IDE devices to it. 4. Start the system, Follow the "Add New Hardware Wizard" to install driver for the Ultra 100 IDE card. 5. Restart the system to make the driver effective. Windows NT 4.0 Installation: 1. Complete fresh installation first with hard drive and CD-ROM drive connected to the onboard IDE ports. 2. Before you shutdown the system, install the driver in \winnt for Ultra 100 IDE card from the "SCSI Adapters" icon in the Control Panel. 3. Install the Ultra 100 IDE card and connect the hard drives and other IDE devices to it. 4. Restart the system to make the driver effective. Windows 2000 Installation: 1. Complete fresh installation first with hard drive and CD-ROM drive connected to the onboard IDE ports. 2. Install the Ultra 100 IDE card and connect the hard drives and other IDE devices to it. 3. Start the system, press 'F1' or 'F11' in responding to IDE BIOS' prompt in yellow color. 4. Follow the "Found New Hardware Wizard" and specify the path \win2k to install driver for the Ultra 100 IDE card. 5. Restart the system to make the driver effective. 6. After your driver has been downloaded, follow these simple steps to install it.
Expand the archive file (if the download file is in zip or rar format).
If the expanded file has an .exe extension, double click it and follow the installation instructions.
Otherwise, open Device Manager by right-clicking the Start menu and selecting Device Manager.
Find the device and model you want to update in the device list.
Double-click on it to open the Properties dialog box.
From the Properties dialog box, select the Driver tab.
Click the Update Driver button, then follow the instructions.
