From the Program Manager, click the "Network" icon. 2. In the Network window, double-click "Network Setup." 3. In the Network Setup window, click "Drivers." 4. In the Network Drivers window, click the "Add Adapter..." button. 5. When the "Add Network Adpater" window shows up, click the "Unlisted or Updated Network Adapter" item for the new driver. Then, click the OK button. 6. Insert the driver diskette into a floppy disk drive A:. 7. Enter the driver path, "A:\WFW311" or "B:\WFW311", and then click OK. The Unlisted or Updated Network Adapter windows will show the name of the adpater, and then highlight it. Click OK button. 8. Close and exit all of the windows. The system will automatically modify the CONFIG.SYS, AUTOEXEC.BAT, PROTOCOL.INI, and SYSTEM.INI files. Setup driver parameters on WFW311: ---------------------------------- Only one parameter can be set in driver installation & reconfiguration. - Media Speed: default is Auto Detection. Auto Detection: start NWAY function to perform media speed detection during driver initialization. TX 10Mbps : media speed is set to 10 Mega bits per second. TX 10Mbps Full-Duplex :media speed is set to 10Mbps full duplex mode. TX 100Mbps : media speed is set to 100 Mega bits per second. After your driver has been downloaded, follow these simple steps to install it.
Expand the archive file (if the download file is in zip or rar format).
If the expanded file has an .exe extension, double click it and follow the installation instructions.
Otherwise, open Device Manager by right-clicking the Start menu and selecting Device Manager.
Find the device and model you want to update in the device list.
Double-click on it to open the Properties dialog box.
From the Properties dialog box, select the Driver tab.
Click the Update Driver button, then follow the instructions.
Very important: You must reboot your system to ensure that any driver updates have taken effect.
