          KF-221FX Fast Ethernet PCI Adapter NDIS2 Drivers
              Installation for Lantastic for IBM OS/2
          ================================================

In this driver release, the NDIS2 drivers are provided for the
Lantastic for OS/2 installation.

The NDIS2 driver, DC21X4.OS2, is located in subdirectory \NDIS.OS2
And it's used for Lantastic for OS/2 installation.

This documentation covers the following topics:

1. Start your OS/2.

2. Insert Disk 1 of "LANtastic for OS/2".

3. Double click on Drive icon.

4. Double click on SETUP.EXE icon.

5. Follow the on-screen installation procedures until you reach the
   "Network Adapter Selection" screen.

6. Click "Use NDIS Driver for non-Artisoft adapter".

7. Insert the Fast Ethernet adapter driver diskette into drive A:.

8. Enter the path of the directory in which the NDIS driver is located
   as below:

        A:\NDIS.OS2

9. Click <Search> button.

10. The system will copy the necessary driver files from the driver diskette
    into your Lantastic system directory.

11. Complete the rest of the installation.

How To Update Drivers Manually

After your driver has been downloaded, follow these simple steps to install it.

  • Expand the archive file (if the download file is in zip or rar format).

  • If the expanded file has an .exe extension, double click it and follow the installation instructions.

  • Otherwise, open Device Manager by right-clicking the Start menu and selecting Device Manager.

  • Find the device and model you want to update in the device list.

  • Double-click on it to open the Properties dialog box.

  • From the Properties dialog box, select the Driver tab.

  • Click the Update Driver button, then follow the instructions.

Very important: You must reboot your system to ensure that any driver updates have taken effect.
