Upgrading the Dell Wireless Printer Adaptor 3300 firmware:

1. Go to Start > All Programs > Dell > Dell Wireless Printer Adapter 3300

2. Click on 'Set IP Address Utility'. (A scan will be performed.)

3. In the 'Configure Print Servers' box, highlight the printer adapter you would like to update.

4. Click the 'Launch Web Page' button.  Your web browser will launch with the unit's main web page.

5. On the main page, click on the 'Settings' link.

6. Under settings/other, click on the 'Update Print Server Firmware' link.

7. A security warning box may pop-up, if it does click on yes to accept.

8. Click on the browse button and select the firmware file N201_Fullnet.flg. The normal location will be C:\Dell\Drivers\R139145. Click open to accept the file.

9. Click on flash button to start the update process. The unit will reset when flash is done.  

Update is now complete!

How To Update Drivers Manually

After your driver has been downloaded, follow these simple steps to install it.

  • Expand the archive file (if the download file is in zip or rar format).

  • If the expanded file has an .exe extension, double click it and follow the installation instructions.

  • Otherwise, open Device Manager by right-clicking the Start menu and selecting Device Manager.

  • Find the device and model you want to update in the device list.

  • Double-click on it to open the Properties dialog box.

  • From the Properties dialog box, select the Driver tab.

  • Click the Update Driver button, then follow the instructions.

Very important: You must reboot your system to ensure that any driver updates have taken effect.
