USB Adapter Installation Guide for Film Scanner ---------------------- SETUP --------------------- Please follow procedures below to install USB adapter. 1.If You want to install the DocuMan application for scan image and edit it,Insert Documan CD-ROM,which cames with the scanner,to install DocuMan application. 2.Connect the scanner with your PC by the USB cable connector. 3.Once the scanner is connected with the PC,Windows95/98/ME/2000 will automatically dectet the presence of your scanner and will pop-up the "Add New Hardware Wizard " dialogue box. 4.Click the NEXT button. In the next display of dialogue box, select the "Recommended" Choice and click the NEXT button. 5.In the next display,select "Floppy Disk Drive" or "Specify a directory" installation,then insert this installation disk into your A:\ driver,select the "Usb2400.inf" file and click the NEXT button in the dialogue box. 6. In the next screen ,the dialogue box will indicate that Windows has found driver for the film scanner,Click the NEXT button,and the driver will be installed from the installation disk. 7.Once the driver is insatlled ,the dialogue box will show a little icon and USB film scanner beside it. Click the FINISH button to complete the installation. -------------------- UPDATE the driver for USB ------------------ 1.If you had installed old driver for film scanner on your computer,and you will update the driver,please update the driver in device manager.if you do not know how to do it,do it as follow: Control Pannel --->System --->Device Manager --->Image Device ---> USB Film Scanner ----> Properties ----> Driver ----> Update Driver. -------------------- Remove the driver for USB ------------------ 1.Remove the USB Film scanner in Device Manager. 2.Delete the C:\Windows\Inf\Other\TamarackUsb2400.inf file. Note: 1.MS NT4.0 does not offer USB surport. 2.You can update your film scanner driver with usb2400.inf file(use Add new hardware or update driver). 3.If you have any problem,please email to email@example.com.Download Driver Pack
After your driver has been downloaded, follow these simple steps to install it.
Expand the archive file (if the download file is in zip or rar format).
If the expanded file has an .exe extension, double click it and follow the installation instructions.
Otherwise, open Device Manager by right-clicking the Start menu and selecting Device Manager.
Find the device and model you want to update in the device list.
Double-click on it to open the Properties dialog box.
From the Properties dialog box, select the Driver tab.
Click the Update Driver button, then follow the instructions.
Very important: You must reboot your system to ensure that any driver updates have taken effect.
