--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
1. Supported platforms

The following platforms are supported in this release:
- Windows 2000
- Windows XP

The software is not compatible with Windows ME, NT, 98 SE or earlier, and
will refuse to install on these systems.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
2. Installation

2.1 First Time Installation
If this is the first time that a TrueMobile 5100 Tri-band GPRS PC Card
will be used with the computer, the PC card should NOT be inserted until
after the Setup.exe program has completed.

1. Run D:\Setup.exe where D: is your CD-ROM drive
2. Insert the TrueMobile 5100 GPRS PC card, wait for driver to be automatically installed
3. Start the TrueMobile GPRS Manager using the icon on the Desktop or
Start > Programs > Dell TrueMobile 5100 > TrueMobile GPRS Manager
4. Use the Wizard to define a connection

2.2 Upgrade Installation or Re-installation
The installer will upgrade a previous version of the application and drivers.
It does not matter whether the PC card is inserted or ejected during the
upgrade. However, the New Hardware Wizard will run again the next time the
card is detected.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

3. Known Issues

3.1 Note that it is normal for the New Hardware Wizard to run twice during
this install - once for the Modem driver and again for the GPRS Network adaptor.
