Installation Notes
===========================================================

The Dell | Solution Center will only display applications that 
are installed into their original default directories on your 
computer.

Recommended installation type is 'Typical'.

When using Windows XP, it is necessary to log in as 
'Administrator' for the Dell Solution Center to install 
completely.

Un-Installation Notes
===========================================================

When Uninstalling the software, the Dell | Solution Center 
will indicate that it is first "installing", and then it 
will remove the files associated with the application.

Uninstallation of Dell | Solution Center must be started from
'Administrator' mode for proper removal of all files.

Application Notes
===========================================================

Only Applications that are installed on your computer and
indicate their presence to Dell | Solution Center will be
displayed for you to review and select.

How To Update Drivers Manually

After your driver has been downloaded, follow these simple steps to install it.

  • Expand the archive file (if the download file is in zip or rar format).

  • If the expanded file has an .exe extension, double click it and follow the installation instructions.

  • Otherwise, open Device Manager by right-clicking the Start menu and selecting Device Manager.

  • Find the device and model you want to update in the device list.

  • Double-click on it to open the Properties dialog box.

  • From the Properties dialog box, select the Driver tab.

  • Click the Update Driver button, then follow the instructions.

Very important: You must reboot your system to ensure that any driver updates have taken effect.
