1 - Novell support included in this release

2 - Windows and Linux tools allow for firmware upgrades with tape in the drive.

Known issues:

Known issue 1:
LTO Drive connected to LSI controller in RAID/SCSI not detected by TDX tool under Netware 6.x
Work around:
Change drive SCSI ID to something other than 6 or 7. Reboot drive.
"scan for new devices" in Netware. Rerun TDX. Upgrade from and switch drive back to ID6.

Known issue 2:
When performing SCSI based drive firmware upgrades if Yosemite Tapeware 7.X is installed
on your server it must be closed and the service: twunxsvc must be stopped.
At the terminal type /usr/local/tapeware/twunxsvc –x to stop the service. Then perform
the firmware upgrade steps. To restart the service type /usr/local/tapeware/twunxsvc –s.
If the above steps are not taken then the devices will not be found by the firmware
upgrade tool.
