IMPROVING USB DEVICE STABILITY ------------------------------ Some USB devices, unsuccessfully competing with your computer's resources, may demonstrate minor flaws or behave erratically. Their performance and stability may be improved if you reduce your computer's graphics acceleration rate. To adjust your graphics acceleration rate: 1) Click Start -> Settings -> Control Panel. 2) In the Control Panel window, double-click the Display icon. 3) In the Display Properties dialog box, click the Settings tab. 4) Click the Advanced Properties button. 5) In the Advanced Display Properties dialog box, click the Performance tab. 6) Drag the Hardware Acceleration slider to the left to slow down the rate. 2. TROUBLESHOOTING --------------- Problem: No video is displayed in Creative WebCam Control. Solution: * Use Device Manager to verify that the USB Host Controller has no resource conflicts. * Slow down the graphics hardware acceleration rate. (See point 1 above.) 3.
