IC Plus - TAMARACK TC902X 10/100/1000 Ethernet Adapter SCO OpenServer5 Driver ====================================================== Location of driver package: \sco\server5\tc902x.tar Usage: Before you start with the installation process, make sure that OpenServer5 system is properly installed and your adapter is properly installed in your machine. 1. Prepare a formatted diskette on any DOS machine. For example, type: C:>format a: 2. Boot the OpenServer5 3. Insert the package floppy in the proper drive, i.e. drive A: 4. cd /tmp 5. doscp a:/sco/server5/tc902x.tar /tmp 6. Replace with the prepared formatted diskette in step 1. 7. dd if=metftar of=/dev/rfd0135ds18 8. Run "scoadmin". Then select "Software Manager" -> "Software" -> "Install New" -> "From scosysv" -> "Floppy Disk Driver 0". Choose "IC Plus 10/100/1000 Ethernet Driver" to install this package. 9. Select "Networks" -> "Network Configuration Manager" -> "Hardware" -> "Add new LAN adapter" to add the adapter. 10. Select "IC Plus - TAMARACK TC902X 10/100/1000 Ethernet Adapter" 11. Select "SCO TCP/IP" as the default protocol stack. 12. After relinking the kernel, reboot the systemDownload Driver Pack
After your driver has been downloaded, follow these simple steps to install it.
Expand the archive file (if the download file is in zip or rar format).
If the expanded file has an .exe extension, double click it and follow the installation instructions.
Otherwise, open Device Manager by right-clicking the Start menu and selecting Device Manager.
Find the device and model you want to update in the device list.
Double-click on it to open the Properties dialog box.
From the Properties dialog box, select the Driver tab.
Click the Update Driver button, then follow the instructions.
Very important: You must reboot your system to ensure that any driver updates have taken effect.
