              IC Plus - TAMARACK TC902X 10/100/1000 Ethernet Adapter
                        SCO OpenServer5 Driver
              ======================================================

Location of driver package:     
  		\sco\server5\tc902x.tar

Usage:

      Before you start with the installation process,  make sure that
      OpenServer5 system is properly installed and your adapter 
      is properly installed in your machine.

      1. Prepare a formatted diskette on any DOS machine.  For example, type:

         C:>format a:

      2. Boot the OpenServer5

      3. Insert the package floppy in the proper drive, i.e. drive A:

      4. cd /tmp   
      
      5. doscp a:/sco/server5/tc902x.tar /tmp

      6. Replace with the prepared formatted diskette in step 1.

      7. dd if=metftar of=/dev/rfd0135ds18

      8. Run "scoadmin". Then select "Software Manager" -> "Software" ->
         "Install New" -> "From scosysv" -> "Floppy Disk Driver 0".
	 Choose "IC Plus 10/100/1000 Ethernet Driver" to install this 
	 package.

      9. Select "Networks" -> "Network Configuration Manager" ->
         "Hardware"  -> "Add new LAN adapter" to add the adapter. 

     10. Select "IC Plus - TAMARACK TC902X 10/100/1000 Ethernet Adapter"

     11. Select "SCO TCP/IP" as the default protocol stack. 

     12. After relinking the kernel, reboot the system

How To Update Drivers Manually

After your driver has been downloaded, follow these simple steps to install it.

  • Expand the archive file (if the download file is in zip or rar format).

  • If the expanded file has an .exe extension, double click it and follow the installation instructions.

  • Otherwise, open Device Manager by right-clicking the Start menu and selecting Device Manager.

  • Find the device and model you want to update in the device list.

  • Double-click on it to open the Properties dialog box.

  • From the Properties dialog box, select the Driver tab.

  • Click the Update Driver button, then follow the instructions.

Very important: You must reboot your system to ensure that any driver updates have taken effect.
