The ICP Driver for SCO OpenServer
---------------------------------

Creating a Driver Disk
======================
To create a driver disk from an image file simply start IWRITE,
with the name of the floppy drive that should be used and the
name of the image.

  e.g. IWRITE A: SCO5X

creates the ICP OpenServer 5.x Driver Disk in floppy drive A:

A pre-formatted 1.44 MB floppy disk can be used as well as an unformatted one.
Please note that all data on the destination disk will be deleted.
IWRITE can be used under MS-DOS, Windows NT, Windows 95 and OS/2.
IWrite32 can be used under Windows NT / 2000 / XP.

If there are problems formatting or creating the floppy disk (e.g. under
Windows 95), please use a pre-formatted floppy disk and force IWRITE not
to format the media by setting the parameter '/F' ("IWRITE A: SCO5X /F").

To check the contents of an image file simply use 'type' on the file.

e.g. "type SCO5X.IMG" displays the following text:

(c) 2001 Copyright ICP vortex Computersysteme GmbH
IREAD - Image V1.00
*** ICP Software SCO OpenServer Version x.xx - 01/01 ***
2001-01-31 14:22:37
Image-size is 1474560 Bytes
Floppy-disk-geometry is 2 heads, 80 tracks and 18 sectors per track.
