readme.txt Driver File Contents (cdlx4.06.1037.exe)

This directory contains the CardDeluxe(TM) ASIO driver
for Cubase VST and Cubase VST/24 under Windows 95/98/NT.

*** Installation instructions ***

To install the CardDeluxe ASIO driver:
1. Open a Windows Explorer window and browse into the ASIO subdirectory on your
CardDeluxe Driver Installation disk. If you downloaded the CardDeluxe drivers,
browse into the ASIO subdirectory in the directory where you unzipped the driver
   files.
2. Right-click on the file "cdlxasio.inf", and select "Install".
3. Wait for Windows to install the driver files on your computer.
If you see a "Version Conflict" window that says, "A file being copied is older
than the file currently on your computer. It is recommended that you keep
your existing file. Do you want to keep this file?", click "Yes" to keep the
file currently installed on your computer. This is not an error; it simply
means that you already have a more up-to-date version of one of the installed
   files on your computer.

   none at this time

Known issues with Cubase VST and Cubase VST/24:
1. If you do not have a MIDI card, you will want to use Cubase VST or Cubase VST/24
version 3.65 or later, since some earlier versions have a bug that prevents audio
playback from starting when no MIDI cards are present. You can download updates
   from Steinberg's web site at:
