For most environments, the NDIS3 driver is recommended and
is installed by default into Windows 95 and Windows NT
operating systems. The NDIS4 driver will only function on
Windows 95 build 950B and greater and Windows NT 4.0
and greater. (You can check the Windows release number in
the System Properties dialog box, General tab.)

If the user desires features of the NDIS4 driver, it can be
installed by pointing to the \NDIS4 directory on the
CardAssistant floppy during installation.

If the NDIS3 driver is currently installed, you can install
the NDIS4 driver, found in the \NDIS4 directry on the
CardAssistant diskette, over the NDIS3 driver, making sure
that the NDIS4 driver is rename to at2500m.sys. In
Windows 95, the NDIS3 driver is located in the system
directory; in Windows NT 4.0 it is located in the
system32\drivers directory. After the NDIS4 driver is
copied, reboot the system.
