DOS Installation
ÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄ
The MS LAN Manager provides a SETUP.EXE program in the setup diskette
for specifying a driver for the Ethernet adapter.
To install a driver for DOS (see OS/2 below), follow these steps:
If you are installing LAN Manager for the first time, answer "Yes"
when prompted for the importation of additional network drivers.
This prompt appears right after completion of the workstation
installation.
If LAN Manager is already installed in your hard disk, select
"Add New Config" from the Configuration menu. Then, select
"Other Driver".
Insert the driver diskette in Drive A and follow the instructions on
the screen. The SETUP program will copy the necessary NDIS driver
programs from the driver diskette into your hard disk; that is, into
the LAN Manager directory. (PATH=C:\LANMAN.DOS, if install specify)
After completion of SETUP, your CONFIG.SYS file will be modified to
reflect the NDIS driver programs.
Reboot your system to affect the changes.
