To install your TI printer driver, follow these steps.


USING THE ADD PRINTER METHOD

*************************************************************

This method is recommended to install your 2014 printer driver.

1.  Click on START , SETTINGS, then PRINTERS.
2.  Double-click on the ADD PRINTERS icon.
3.  Click NEXT.
4.  Select how your printer is attached to your computer (Local or Network).
5.  Click NEXT.
6.  Click HAVE DISK.
7.  Change to directory that contains the WIN95 driver(s) install files.
8.  Click OK.
9.  Choose your printer driver from the list.
10. Click NEXT.
11. Select your printer port.
12. Click NEXT.
13. Select whether you want this driver the default Windows 95 printer driver.
14. Click NEXT.
15. Select Yes to print test a page.
16. Click FINISH.
17. Insert your Windows 95 installation media (CD or diskette) and click OK.
18. Type the drive letter of the installation media.  If the installation
    media is a CD change the directory to \WIN95.
19. Click OK.
20. Click Yes when test page prints.




NOTE:  The additional PostScript and PCL5 files needed to run
       with the TI microLaser Pro drivers, have been been provided
       in the BACKUP directories.  The additional PostScript files
       are in \WBACKUP\PS and the additional PCL5 files are in
       \WBACKUP\PCL5.  These additional files have been provided
       as a backup and are not intended to be used upon installation
       unless you do not have access to your Windows 95 media.
       CAUTION:  THE FILES PROVIDED IN \WBACKUP COULD BE AN OLDER
       VERSION THAN THE FILES PROVIDED WITH YOUR WINDOWS 95 DISK OR CD.

How To Update Drivers Manually

After your driver has been downloaded, follow these simple steps to install it.

  • Expand the archive file (if the download file is in zip or rar format).

  • If the expanded file has an .exe extension, double click it and follow the installation instructions.

  • Otherwise, open Device Manager by right-clicking the Start menu and selecting Device Manager.

  • Find the device and model you want to update in the device list.

  • Double-click on it to open the Properties dialog box.

  • From the Properties dialog box, select the Driver tab.

  • Click the Update Driver button, then follow the instructions.

Very important: You must reboot your system to ensure that any driver updates have taken effect.
