Installation instructions for
CATC Diagnostic Program for NetMate and NetMate2

NMDiag.exe is a self extracting file.

Make sure NetMate or NetMate2 is already installed and the network
cable is connected.  If network cable is not connected, only internal
loop back test is possible.

Double Click on NMDiag.exe or 
use "run" command from Start button and Open "a:\diag\NMDiag.exe"


A pop screen asking for a folder name to write the unzipped files will
appear.

Enter a directory name in your hard disk -  e.g. E:\NetMate

Click on Unzip button in the POPUP window.

The following files should be extracted into the directory entered above:

    CATCDiag.exe
    NDISHook.vxd
    W32N20.dll
    W32NNTSC.exe

Now the diagnostic program can be started by

double clicking on CATCDiag.exe or using the "run" command from Start button.

How To Update Drivers Manually

After your driver has been downloaded, follow these simple steps to install it.

  • Expand the archive file (if the download file is in zip or rar format).

  • If the expanded file has an .exe extension, double click it and follow the installation instructions.

  • Otherwise, open Device Manager by right-clicking the Start menu and selecting Device Manager.

  • Find the device and model you want to update in the device list.

  • Double-click on it to open the Properties dialog box.

  • From the Properties dialog box, select the Driver tab.

  • Click the Update Driver button, then follow the instructions.

Very important: You must reboot your system to ensure that any driver updates have taken effect.
