Installing device drivers

Installation of CD-C68E under Windows NT.
Do not install additional drivers.
Please use the IDE / ATAPI standart drivers which are supplied by your operating system. 
Activate the respective driver by using system control.
Under Windows NT you can only use the Multiple-Driveletter-Mode therefor it`s not 
necessary to install the TEAC-Disc-Changer-Utilities.



Installation of CD-C68E under Win`95.
Run the SETUP.EXE file contained in the TEAC CD-Rom Changer installation Disk for 
Win’95. Follow the instructions on the screen.


In the case of Installation-trouble under Win’95 you have to
install the CD-C68E drivers manually please follow these steps:

1. Look for the actually listed HD Controller in your system enviroment.

2. Delete this controller.

3. Start the hardwarecheck, not automatically but manual. Then choose HD Controller and
    then “have disk“, from the TEAC Device driver disk you can now load the demanded
    driver.  For multiple drive letter mode you have to choose the directory MULTI, for single
    drive letter choose SINGLE. Then choose the controller type which is similar to the previus
    installed HD controller.

4. After restarting your PC you have to check if the controller is set to (TEAC SUPPLIED)
    and the BASIS CONFIGURATION is set to 0.

Now you can install and use the DISC-CHANGER UTILITIES.

How To Update Drivers Manually

After your driver has been downloaded, follow these simple steps to install it.

  • Expand the archive file (if the download file is in zip or rar format).

  • If the expanded file has an .exe extension, double click it and follow the installation instructions.

  • Otherwise, open Device Manager by right-clicking the Start menu and selecting Device Manager.

  • Find the device and model you want to update in the device list.

  • Double-click on it to open the Properties dialog box.

  • From the Properties dialog box, select the Driver tab.

  • Click the Update Driver button, then follow the instructions.

Very important: You must reboot your system to ensure that any driver updates have taken effect.
