To install the Drivers for the Mercury X2:


1.  Open the Control Panel
2.  Click on the Display icon.
3.  Click on the Settings tab.
4.  Click on the Change Display Type button.
5.  Click on Change button in the Adapter Type box.
6.  Click on the Have Disk button in the Select Device window.
7.  Insert Disk 2 into your floppy drive.
8.  Select the proper floppy drive letter from the drive letters avaliable.
9.  Click on the OK button in the Install From Disk window
10. Click on the OK button in the Select Device Window
11. Select the Close button in the Change Display Type window.
12. Wait for Windows95 to copy the files to the hard drive.
13. Observe that the Adapter Type is "Tseng Labs ET400/W32 PCI.
14. Click on the Close button in the Change Display Type window.
15. Select the Resolution and Color Depth setting appropriate for your Monitor.
16. Click on the Close button in the Display window.
17. Shutdown Windows95.
18. Reboot your Computer.

How To Update Drivers Manually

After your driver has been downloaded, follow these simple steps to install it.

  • Expand the archive file (if the download file is in zip or rar format).

  • If the expanded file has an .exe extension, double click it and follow the installation instructions.

  • Otherwise, open Device Manager by right-clicking the Start menu and selecting Device Manager.

  • Find the device and model you want to update in the device list.

  • Double-click on it to open the Properties dialog box.

  • From the Properties dialog box, select the Driver tab.

  • Click the Update Driver button, then follow the instructions.

Very important: You must reboot your system to ensure that any driver updates have taken effect.
