When you use the S3 Trio64KV2/ Trio64V+/ViRGE DX, ATI Rage II/
Rage II+/Rage Pro, Trident 975 or Nvidia Riva 128 VGA card, there is
a VPM driver for you to install before you install the application.

Installing the DVD 320 Application
1. Insert the "Multimedia Software" diskette in drive A, type or browse
"A:\setup.exe" to start the program.
2. The "Welcome" utility pops up, then click on "Next".
3. The installation options pop up, select the country for your TV system,
see Appendix A for more details, then click on "Next".
4. Select the VGA card you use in your system, then click "Next".
5. Choose the directory for installation, then click "Next".
6. Type or select the folder to let Setup add program icons, then click
"Next" to continue. When the installation is complete, restart Windows
so that the installation can take effect. You are now ready to enjoy DVD
movies on your PC.

video-in-window mode, so you can see both the motion picture and
the control panel on the screen. You can skip this step if you cannot
get the VPM driver, the DVD 320 still can playback the DVD titles
in the optimal quality.
How to get the VPM driver ?
Consult your graphic card vendor or system dealer to get the VPM
driver for your VGA card. The VPM driver (s3 vpm.zip) is also available
at the Luxsonor's ftp site http://www.luxsonor.com./pub/drivers.cgi.
Extract the file "s3_vpm(25).zip" you have downloaded from the ftp site
to C:\s3-vpm(or any directory you want), then install the VPM driver by
selecting Start->Run, type or browse "C:\s3_vpm\setup.exe"
(if C:\s3_vpm is where your VPM driver located), then click "OK".
Follow the procedure to install the VPM driver.
STEP 2 Installing the DVD 320 Application

Extract the file "ati_vpm(12).zip" you have downloaded from the ftp
site to C:\ (or any directory you want), it will create a new directory
C:\Ativpm, Follow the procedure to install the VPM driver.
1. Select Start->Setting->Control Panel->Add New Hardware, then
click "Next".
2. Select "No", do not let the Windows to search your new hardware,
then click "Next" to continue.
3. Select "Sound, video and game controllers", then click "Next".
Click "Have Dick?", type or browse "C:\Ativpm" (if C:\Ativpm is
where your VPM driver located), then click "OK".
4. Select "ATI 16/32 bit Video Port Manager (VPM) Provider",
click "OK" and then "Finish" to continue installing the VPM driver.

drivers for your VGA card. You can also get the file at the Trident
VGA card's Installation CD-ROM.
1. Install the VPM driver by clicking Start->Run, Type or browse
"E:\AVI\avisetup.exe" (where E is the letter of your CD-ROM drive)
then click "OK".
2. The Trident AVI Drivers Setup screen will appear. Press "Continue",
then follow the procedure to install the VPM driver.
The VPM driver "tir975.zip" is available at the Luxsonor's ftp site
http://www.luxsonor.com./pub/drivers.cgi.
Extract the file "tir975(1).zip" you have downloaded from the ftp
site to C:\ Trivpm(or any directory you want), then install the VPM
driver by selecting Start->Run, type or browse
"C:\ Trivpm\VGAdriver\Trident\Tri975\VPMNew\setup.exe"
(if C:\ Trivpm is where your VPM driver located), then click "OK".
Follow the procedure to install the VPM driver.
STEP 2 Installing the DVD 320 Application
Download Driver Pack
After your driver has been downloaded, follow these simple steps to install it.
Expand the archive file (if the download file is in zip or rar format).
If the expanded file has an .exe extension, double click it and follow the installation instructions.
Otherwise, open Device Manager by right-clicking the Start menu and selecting Device Manager.
Find the device and model you want to update in the device list.
Double-click on it to open the Properties dialog box.
From the Properties dialog box, select the Driver tab.
Click the Update Driver button, then follow the instructions.
Very important: You must reboot your system to ensure that any driver updates have taken effect.
