This is the readme file for upgrading PCPro !PC 2.03 to !PC 213p.

This upgrade is only for RISC PC cards with PCPro2 !PC version 2.03 and not 
for RISC OS 4 users. Users with RISC OS 4 should upgrade to PCPro3. 
You should have found that the file name has been truncated to 203to213p/

BugRep 		For reporting ALL faults.
Docs 		Directory containing an updated Impression and text manual.
Misc		Directory containing updated and additional drivers.
Drivers		Copy of the Drivers Directory which should be on your C: drive.
!Boot		For updating !Boot. 
!Freshen	Used to update !PC 2.03 to !PC 213p

Start
-----
Copy the Drivers directory from this 203to213p/zip file onto the root of you drive C:
partition.

Drag !Boot over !Boot on your hard drive. 

Open up directory containing !PC
Delete old Manuals
Copy BugRep, !Freshen, Docs and Misc into the directory containing !PC.

Create a Directory called V203 and make a copy of !PC in the new directory.
Copy the 203to213p/zip file into the new V203 directory.

!Freshen
--------
Double select on !Freshen to put it on icon bar. Drag !PC on to !Freshen icon.
A window will open select the "start" button. When Freshen reports "Patch 
completed successfully" select the "Continue" button and close the "Patch 
application" Window.

The configuration file called "Config" in !PC should have been preserved.

Read the Manual to upgrade the Windows drivers mainly ARMdrv 2.16.

How To Update Drivers Manually

After your driver has been downloaded, follow these simple steps to install it.

  • Expand the archive file (if the download file is in zip or rar format).

  • If the expanded file has an .exe extension, double click it and follow the installation instructions.

  • Otherwise, open Device Manager by right-clicking the Start menu and selecting Device Manager.

  • Find the device and model you want to update in the device list.

  • Double-click on it to open the Properties dialog box.

  • From the Properties dialog box, select the Driver tab.

  • Click the Update Driver button, then follow the instructions.

Very important: You must reboot your system to ensure that any driver updates have taken effect.
