README.TXT Driver File Contents (pip5canw32.zip)

This is the README for Win95 CAN VxD for the MPL PIP5

Installation:

Use the Add-Hardware Wizard of Win95 to install the driver.
As the CAN contoller is not PNP, it will not be automatically
detected. Select "No" if the Wizard asks for automatic searching
for new hardware.

From the "Hardware Types" listbox, select "System Device".
In the following dialog, choose "Have Disk", after that,
select "MPL PIP5 CAN controller" from the list and
follow the instructions on the screen.

Known Bugs:

	- remote message flag seems not to work reliable
	- sometimes no more transmit after not ack msg,
	  especially after bitrate change

ToDo (nice to have):
	- Send and Receive should work with "normal" file I/O
	  instead of using DeviceIOControl functions

	- greater bitrate table (more entries) or flexible
	  configuration
