This has now been fixed and reboot is not required.

 - If the Precise 100 PC-Card reader is inserted with the finger on
the reader, the device would not start. This has been fixed.

 - If the sensor of the Precise 100 PC-Card is in a unknown state,

 SPECIAL NOTES:

 - Make sure that the Smart Card service is started before you use the

 - If you are running a Windows logon product using Precise
technology, the computer may have to be restarted after updating
   the drivers.

======================================================================

 KNOWN LIMITATIONS:

 - On some computers the Precise 100 Drivers might hinder the computer
to wake up from stand-by and/or hibernation.
If this occurs our recommendation is to turn off the stand-by
   and/or hibernation functionality.

 - Some computer configurations may not correctly handle returning
from stand-by when remote wake-up is initiated from the Precise
100 MC. This is not due to the Precise 100 MC device.
To avoid this problem, the Precise 100 MC ability to remote
wake-up a computer from stand-by is disabled by default. To enable
remote wake-up functionality, review the Power Management settings
for the Precise 100 MC in the Device Manager.
