1.  Driver Kit Files
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
    The  driver kit consists of the following 3 files :
	
	CWRWDM   INF        15,389  12-19-99  1:55a
	CWRWDM   SYS        42,384  12-19-99  1:55a
	PW5015   CAT            21  12-19-99  1:55a

2.  Installing Crystal Audio Drivers
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
    1.  Copy the files on the diskette to a directory on the hard drive, or you
        may install from floppy.

    2.  Double click the Device Manager icon in the control panel.  The 
	Device Manager Properties windows will appear. PCI Audio Device
	will have a yellow marker the first time the OS is installed.

    3.  Click on the "Refresh" button to install the driver, go thru the
	installation and make sure that the correct driver source path
	is selected. 
	
    4.  Make sure that Windows CD is available to complete the installation of
	the WDM driver.

    5.  The Gershwin entry will show up in the Sound, Video and Game controllers.

3.  Uninstalling or Updating Crystal Audio Drivers
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
    1.  Double click the Device Manager icon in the control panel.  The 
	Device Manager Properties windows will appear. Select Crystal PCI Audio 
	Accelerator under Sound, Video and Game controllers.

    2.  Select the "Remove" button and press it to Un-Install the driver.

How To Update Drivers Manually

After your driver has been downloaded, follow these simple steps to install it.

  • Expand the archive file (if the download file is in zip or rar format).

  • If the expanded file has an .exe extension, double click it and follow the installation instructions.

  • Otherwise, open Device Manager by right-clicking the Start menu and selecting Device Manager.

  • Find the device and model you want to update in the device list.

  • Double-click on it to open the Properties dialog box.

  • From the Properties dialog box, select the Driver tab.

  • Click the Update Driver button, then follow the instructions.

Very important: You must reboot your system to ensure that any driver updates have taken effect.
