27. Fixed 69000 slow write problem that occurs in the CRT mode when hardware
    overlay is first used after power up.

28. Added 1600x1200 values to CHIPSMM.DAT.  This allows overlay to be played
    in that mode.

29. Made CHIPSVPM.DLL version strings compatible with Microsoft's
    version strings.

30. Fixed ActiveMovie 69000 playback problem when reduction is enabled.
    The playback window was clipped too much.

31. Enabled vertical interpolation for the 68554 in CHIPSVPM.DLL.
    CHIPSVPM.DLL is now version 1.01.00.0122.

32. Added values for CRT 1280x1024 75Hz to CHIPSMM.DAT.  This allows overlay
    to be played in the mode with that refresh.

33. Fixed palette xlat problem with Active Desktop background and icon
    movement.  (Issue #656).

34. Fixed garbage in both playback when two ActiveMovie 2.0 playing, one
    is overlay and YUV flipping is selected.  (Issue #701).

35. Fixed TV mode DOS box to DOS FS transition on newer BIOSes; the problem
    occured if after opening o DOS box a TV switch is performed, then DOS FS. 

36. Updated some PlaybackMaxWidth in CHIPSMM.DAT to limit some widths
    in 1280x1024 modes.

37. Fixed hang problem with portrait mode if change color depth but not
    restart resulting in no change.  Then change the orientation it hangs.

38. Now install CHPSTART.EXE to run at boot time.  It is needed for 69000 TV
    out vertical reduction initialization.

How To Update Drivers Manually

After your driver has been downloaded, follow these simple steps to install it.

  • Expand the archive file (if the download file is in zip or rar format).

  • If the expanded file has an .exe extension, double click it and follow the installation instructions.

  • Otherwise, open Device Manager by right-clicking the Start menu and selecting Device Manager.

  • Find the device and model you want to update in the device list.

  • Double-click on it to open the Properties dialog box.

  • From the Properties dialog box, select the Driver tab.

  • Click the Update Driver button, then follow the instructions.

Very important: You must reboot your system to ensure that any driver updates have taken effect.
