In order to enable the TV out function of ViRGE GX2, please note the following: - TV Set must be connected to the ViRGE GX2 card before system power on, either through Video cable or S-Video cable. - Only TVs with NTSC system are supported, for PAL system TVs, an optional Oscillator of 27MHz have to be installed on the card. - Install the drivers for Win9X in subdirectory, "WIN9X". - Reboot system after installation completed. - Enter this Sub-directory, select "S3SWITCH.INF". - "RIGHT" kick the mouse button, and select "Install". - Select directory of appropiate languge and install :S3COLOR.INF" in the same way. - Reboot system after installation completed. - "RIGHT" kick mouse button on the desktop and select the "S3" applet. - Under "S3"applet, select the "TV" switch and test the TV out function. - Please be reminded, only resolutions of lower than 800x600 were supported. - The TV out function would be disabled every time the system is powered down and have to be switched on in the "S3" applet.Download Driver Pack
After your driver has been downloaded, follow these simple steps to install it.
Expand the archive file (if the download file is in zip or rar format).
If the expanded file has an .exe extension, double click it and follow the installation instructions.
Otherwise, open Device Manager by right-clicking the Start menu and selecting Device Manager.
Find the device and model you want to update in the device list.
Double-click on it to open the Properties dialog box.
From the Properties dialog box, select the Driver tab.
Click the Update Driver button, then follow the instructions.
Very important: You must reboot your system to ensure that any driver updates have taken effect.
