Notes and Restrictions DAC960.ADD v5.00-20 ===================================== -The driver 5.00-20 is released for MYLEX DAC960PG/PJ DAC960PRL and DAC1164P -The driver is released in a configuration with maximal two Mylex DAC960PG/PJ DAC960PRL or DAC1164P controllers. -Mixed configuration between DAC960PRL and DAC1164P is not allowed -Mixed configuration between DAC960PRL and DAC960PG/PJ or mixed configuration between DAC1164P and DAC960PG/PJ is not allowed - Interruptsharing between multiple Mylex disk array controllers is not possible. OS/2 will hang when trying to load DAC960.ADD with shared interrupts between DACs. In this case use the BIOS setup to assign distinct interrupts to each controller. - for using GAM Service you must use the version 2.20-b17 of GAM Server for OS/2. - OS/2 Warp Server installation may get the driver inactive, although it is correctly entered into DISK1and installation switch SET COPYFROMFLOPPY=1 in CONFIG.SYS. Either the driver on the installed partition is overwritten by the native one from CD or the CONFIG.SYS entry BASEDEV=DAC960.ADD gets removed from CONFIG.SYS on the installed partition. This is a bug of the installation program and has to be corrected manually (modify config.sys or recopy DAC960.ADD). - DAC960.ADD must only be entered once into CONFIG.SYS, even if multiple controllers are installed. A second occurence of BASEDEV=DAC960.ADD causes OS/2 to trap with a TRAP03 at driver load.Download Driver Pack
