Installation Instruction for Window 95
Version 1.01A

You will find six sub-directories on this disk.
Each sub directory contain three files for each sound card group.

Groups
   AZT16A
   AZT16B
   Basic16
   Clinton16
   Washington16
   NXPRO16
   PRO16Extra

AZT16A (w/ CS4231 Codec) supports the following cards:
	Basic Audio 16 w/ CS4231 Codec	
	Audio16	w/ CS4231 Codec	
	AZT16	w/ CS4231 Codec	
	AZT16A  w/ CS4231 Codec
	Gateway 2000 Audio A w/ CS4231 Codec
	
AZT16B  (w/ AD1848 or CS4248 Codec) supports the following cards:
	AZT16   w/ AD1848 or CS4248 Codec
	AZT16B  w/ AD1848 or CS4248 Codec
	Gateway 2000 Audio B  w/ AD1848 or CS4248 Codec
	Gateway 2000 GW2K  w/ AD1848 or CS4248 Codec

Basic16 supports the following cards:
	Basic 16
	Pro 16

Clinton 16 supports the following cards:
	Nova 16		CD 16P
	Nova 16 Extra	Voyager kit

NX PRO 16 supports the following cards:
	NX PRO 16
	SC 400

Installation Procedures

Start Window 95
Open the Control Panel
Open "Add New Hardware"
	Press NEXT button.
	Select NO on the Auto Detection.
	You will now see hardware type window.  
	    Select "Sound, Video, Game controller".
	Press HAVE DISK button.
	Press BROWSE button.
	Select the Sub-Directory that contains the correct 
	drivers for your sound card.
	Press OK button.
	Follow the instruction that Windows 95 gives you.
Once the Installation is completed.  Reboot your system.

Your sound card should now be working.

How To Update Drivers Manually

After your driver has been downloaded, follow these simple steps to install it.

  • Expand the archive file (if the download file is in zip or rar format).

  • If the expanded file has an .exe extension, double click it and follow the installation instructions.

  • Otherwise, open Device Manager by right-clicking the Start menu and selecting Device Manager.

  • Find the device and model you want to update in the device list.

  • Double-click on it to open the Properties dialog box.

  • From the Properties dialog box, select the Driver tab.

  • Click the Update Driver button, then follow the instructions.

Very important: You must reboot your system to ensure that any driver updates have taken effect.
