NT_Readme.txt Driver File Contents (ICS_NT_setup.zip)

Window NT Installation:

1. Copy ICS_NTGPIB.exe to a temporary directory on your hard disk.
2. Run ICS_NTGPIB.exe
3. Run SETUP.exe
4. Shut down and install the PCI card.
5. Restart the computer.
6. Run CBCONF32.exe and select GPIB0, GPIB0 and selected card type (488-PCI or 488-PCM) and
   Installed.

Note for PCMCIA:
Win-NT does not support "Plug-N-Play" in the sense of Win-95. For
PCMCIA interfaces, you must follow this install sequence:
    a. Install the GPIB software.
    b. Set the PCMCIA.SYS driver for "Auto" start-up.
    c. Shut down your system.
    d. Insert the PCMCIA card.
    e. Re-boot your system. You should now see your GPIB card listed
under "PCMCIA" in the Control Panel. It should also have I/O
port and interrupt level resources assigned.
It is recommended that, if possible, you leave the short umbilical
cable attached when removing the PCMCIA card as it will reduce
wear and tear on the connector.
