------------------------------------------------------------------- - TOWITOKO CHIPDRIVE Driver - Windows ME Plug and Play Update - - © 2001, Towitoko AG - ------------------------------------------------------------------- This update is for Windows ME users only. This solves a problem where serial CHIPDRIVEs are not found via Plug an Play and thus are not listed in the device manager. Until now some applications may have required a manual search for the device in some cases. INSTALLATION: Run the included program 297125USAM.EXE and then restart the computer. The CHIPDRIVE will be detected and Windows will ask for a driver. Insert the driver disk or CD, or give the path to the driver files. After installing the driver, the CHIPDRIVE will be listed in the device manager and applications should find it automatically. This update has been provided by Microsoft and must only be installed on Windows ME. Never try to install it on any other Windows version. Please be aware that Towitoko does not offer any support for problems related to this update.
