Es behebt das Problem, dass serielle CHIPDRIVEs nicht per Plug and Play erkannt werden und damit auch nicht im Gerätemanager aufgelistet sind. INSTALLATION: Führen Sie das beiliegende Programm 297125USAM.EXE aus undstarten Sie dann den Rechner neu. Das CHIPDRIVE wird danach erkannt und ggf. wird ein Treiber angefordert. Legen Sie in diesem Fall die Treiberdiskette oder CD ein oder geben Sie einen Pfad zu den Treiberdateien an. Nach der Installation ist das CHIPDRIVE dann im Geräte- manager verzeichnet. Das Update wurde von Microsoft zur Verfügung gestellt und ist ausschließlich für Windows ME bestimmt. Installieren Sie das Update unter keinen Umständen unter anderen Windows Versionen. Bitte beachten Sie außerdem, dass Towitoko bei Problemen in Verbindung mit diesem Update keinen Support leisten kann. After your driver has been downloaded, follow these simple steps to install it.
Expand the archive file (if the download file is in zip or rar format).
If the expanded file has an .exe extension, double click it and follow the installation instructions.
Otherwise, open Device Manager by right-clicking the Start menu and selecting Device Manager.
Find the device and model you want to update in the device list.
Double-click on it to open the Properties dialog box.
From the Properties dialog box, select the Driver tab.
Click the Update Driver button, then follow the instructions.
Very important: You must reboot your system to ensure that any driver updates have taken effect.
